3 Unexpected Stores for the Best Leggings and Yoga Pants

Leggings are the ultimate wardrobe staple, which is both a blessing and a curse. Most people will tend to wear leggings until they’re pilled and threadbare, making them a tricky item to thrift. However, this doesn’t mean you should be forced to pay upwards of $100 for a decent pair.

I’ve compiled a list of 3 unexpected places I’ve found some of my favorite leggings and yoga pants to show you that you don’t have to get what you pay for when it comes to finding your perfect pair.

1. Costco

Renowned for their incredible discounts on branded goods, it would be foolish to avoid the clothing section in Costco. Granted, it’s not always stocked full of the latest trends, but if it’s good quality staples at a low price you want, you’re in the right place!

These fleece lined adidas leggings are one of my favorite Costco finds.

2. Amazon

Have you heard of Amazon? It’s this incredibly user friendly website that sells everything you will ever need with 2 day delivery, competitive prices and an abundance of customer reviews. Great for appliances and technology, but also for clothing!

When shopping for leggings and yoga pants, I always check Amazon. The genuine user reviews are incredibly helpful when determining how they’ll fit and survive the washing machine.

3. eBay

Gone are the days where you have to spend a week watching the price gradually increase on the item you want to purchase. eBay is my go-to when I know exactly what I want, but don’t want to pay full price. For instance, a few months back I found myself in lululemon, going against all my thrifty instincts. After I knew exactly the style and color that I wanted, I took to eBay and found a discounted pair (sorry helpful sales assistant). Searching for ‘BNWT’ (brand new with tag) and then a description of the item is the best way to pull the results you’re after. I managed to land these yoga pants for half the recommended retail price.

Bonus: Goodwill

I don’t recommend Goodwill as your first stop for leggings because, unlike some boots and plaid button ups, leggings do not tend to age well and can look shabby (and not the chic kind). That being said, I just couldn’t help but share these Nike ones I landed for $7! They have absolutely no pilling and they look awesome!
